Claude Design: Anthropic’s tool for creating visual work.
Anthropic has launched Claude Design, a tool that lets you create visual work — presentations, mockups, landing pages, prototypes and one-pagers — by talking to Claude.
It is not an image generator or a visual version of the chat, but a complete design environment where you describe what you need, receive a first version and make changes from there.
You refine it through chat, comments placed directly on design elements, or controls that let you adjust colour, spacing and layout in real time.
The most useful part is the company's design system. At the outset, Claude analyses your website or files and automatically builds a system with your colours, typography and components.
All subsequent work already follows the company's identity, without having to explain it again.
It supports exports to Canva, PPTX, PDF and standalone HTML. When the prototype is ready to build, it prepares a package you can hand over to Claude Code to turn the design into code.
It is available in research preview for Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise subscribers. On Enterprise plans, it is disabled by default and must be enabled by an administrator.
Use cases range from pitch decks and business proposals to prototypes for validating ideas before handing them over for development, as well as landing pages, marketing materials and internal mockups.
